✅ Annual Maintenance Checklist
Interior
- ☐ Change furnace filters (more than once a year)
- ☐ Vacuum dust from fridge coils
- ☐ Replace smoke detector batteries
- ☐ Check to make sure CO detector installed and working
- ☐ Sweep the fireplace
- ☐ Remove lint from dryer vent has clear path outside
- ☐ Flush water heater
- ☐ Expiration date on fire extinguisher
- ☐ Repair broken grout or caulk in bathroom
- ☐ Tighten any handles knobs racks
- ☐ Remove shower-heads and clean sediment
- ☐ Check weather stripping on all doors and windows and repair
Exterior
- ☐ Clean gutters
- ☐ Check siding and roof for problems
- ☐ Check sump pump
- ☐ Test garage door opener
- ☐ Check window screens and repair if needed
- ☐ Termites and other bugs
- ☐ Trees for power line interference
- ☐ Recaulk any doors or windows as needed
- ☐ Trim landscape
- ☐ Inspect crawl space for bugs and leaks
- ☐ Touch up peeling or damaged paint
- ☐ Fertilize lawn
- ☐ Close openings to crawl space
- ☐ Check water valves
- ☐ Wash exterior with garden hose and mildew cleaner
